Arctic Tale

When the six graders were taking the NJ ASK, we watched a movie called Arctic Tale. This movie was about how the Arctic has been melting faster every single spring. Some facts i learned from this movie was that the female polar bears have to keep their young away from the male polar bears because the male polar bears will kill them. Also, I learned from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polar_bear that global warming causes the ice to break up and that drives polar bears to the shore which makes it difficult to help. The movie also talked about seals. Some facts i was surprised on was that the baby seals have an aunt that protects them from danger for 2 years. I thought the mother would do that. Overall, I thought this movie was a great documentary.
