Even though Britain is rainy most of the time during this season, Britain has been having really bad weather. According to http://uk.news.yahoo.com/itn/20080115/tuk-britain-braced-for-stormy-weather-dba1618_2.html, thirteen flood watches and eight flood warnings have been sent out across the country. Still from the same source, an environment agency spokesman said that they expect the weather to calm down, but are still keeping watch of the storm. He also said that the rivers across the country are higher than normal. Cars that were unfortunate enough to drive through the storm were forced to evacutae the car due to the nemurous number of trees that fell down. This was mostly around Dorset (A city in South-West England. Go here for more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dorset). One inncident was in Bradford Abbas, near Sherborne, where a van was stuck in waist high water. Emergency services are preparing for the worst, so lets all wish all of England the best of luck!
